“The Skullcandy Jib Wireless don't disappoint.”
“These are a no-brainer.”
I've had these for a day - not long granted, but so far I have mixed feelings towards the product. The earbuds themselves are comfortable and give a great sound quality - this is a main characteristic that keeps me buying SkullCandy products as I've never had a device that gives poor sound quality. They are light and stay put, the charging port at the back doesn't weigh the cords down as it is really quite light.
The charge holds for a good amount of time and the little charging cable is a plus as it means you haven't got long cables getting tangled everywhere.
The controls are easy to use and simple so you're not faffing around with different buttons - just one button and a different amount of clicks for different functions which is nice and easy.
Now for the cons. Although the charging port is light, I've had it catching on my collar quite a bit which is in fact pulling the cords and making it uncomfortable to turn my head.
The bluetooth connection seems to keep cutting out and the sound stops then fades back in - no idea why this is and am going to investigate whether it's my phone's bluetooth. But this is really quite annoying.
So far so good despite some teething problems but overall it's a good product which ticks all the boxes for the price they are.
I’ve always used high end headphones but required some wireless earbuds for out and about (so cheap). I expected a sound quality to be bearable, you get what you pay for. All I can say is Wow, I didn’t expect such sound clarity and the bass is very good. I would expect to pay about double the price for the quality. The passive noise cancelling works well too. Ok there is no volume control but hey my iPhone has a volume control on it and I believe it is a small sacrifice to pay. I will definitely consider Skullcandy in the future.
The Jib Wireless is a really great starter bluetooth earbuds for people that want some wireless earbuds. The sound is really great, connecting to it is very easy, controls are functional, and battery lasts a good while before recharging.
I am not an audiophile but these earbuds can give a decent sound and are good. If you have it connected to your phone for music/video but also for calls they give you the good sound needed. The controls take a double peek to the instructions to get used to but not hard to memorize. Very easy and not bulky.
Battery can last you the needed amount before recharging. some devices will allow you to see the remaining battery for the earbuds if not you have to recharge every time so they are not low when needed or wait for the low battery indicator. The indicator apart from the light blinking is a voice that says 'battery low'.
The only problem that I have with this device is the battery in the back or middle of the earbuds. That is place behind your neck and if your moving or even sitting down it tends to shift to the sides. Since it's a little bulky and can remove the opposite side earbud from your ear. It's sometimes frustrating but can be manageable. Other than that everything is perfect. If you get a pair consider getting a earbud case since Skullcandy products tend to break from one earbud if damaged so this would extend life expectancy for your product.
I bought these as temporary headphones for the gym. I didn't expect much but was surprised. For the price these work really well. Could be a tad bit louder but not a big deal. Good bass and lightweight. I think I'll keep these until they no longer work. No point to spend a ton for the same quality.
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried these earbuds. I have been using higher end wired earbuds and I found these to be really close in sound quality. For the price, these really pack a punch.
